In a bizarre crossover event that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of banned practices and terrifying transformations resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.
The questline focuses on "bizarre trials and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Extra Material
Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an special katana in addition to multiple objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
